Data Deletion

Fyles has no user accounts and stores no data about you on any server. All of your data lives only on your own device, so deleting it is entirely in your hands.
There is no account to delete
Fyles does not require sign-up and does not create a server-side account. We hold no profile, no files, and no contact information about you. There is therefore no account data for you to request the deletion of from us.
How to delete your data
- Delete everything: uninstall the Fyles app. This removes the app’s local database (your contacts, cryptographic keys, and file-request metadata) from the device.
- Delete received files: files you received are saved to your chosen folder (e.g. Downloads). Delete them like any other file using your device’s file manager or gallery.
- Delete individual items in the app: you can remove individual contacts and file requests from within the app.
